Hi, my name is Frankie Welk and I am a Year 10 Student at Encounter Lutheran College, Victor Harbor. In my July school holidays 2025 I will be hiking the Larapinta Trail in the West MacDonnell Ranges out of Alice Springs to raise money for Dolly's Dream and Operation Flinders through the Goolwa Rotary.

I'll be hiking 231km over 12 days with my Dad coming along for support with the aim of raising $1000 to split between my two charities. My hike is fully self-funded and all money raised will go directly to the charities. Both Dolly's Dream and Operation Flinders are key charities that are instrumental in helping the mental health of Australian youth, something I am very passionate about.
