Lap of the Lough Challenge: 35 Mile, 1 Day Sponsored Walk

The Rafferty family and friends are raising money to benefit Camphill Community Mourne Grange, Kilkeel. Mourne Grange was established in 1971, and it provides opportunities for adults with different abilities and support needs to live and work together in a supportive and inclusive community. In the Camphill Movement, communities are formed in such a way that the members, whatever their abilities, can help to support the needs of all, while they themselves are supported in turn. The person with learning or social difficulties is accepted as an individual and valued for who they are. All live, work and learn together to form one community.

Our brother Liam first joined Camphill Community in 1996 and moved to Mourne Grange in 2019 . He works on the farm, having the opportunity to learn about looking after the land, the animals and provide a meaningful contribution to the Community. Liam has excelled in Camphill's nurturing environment, allowing him to develop new skills, gain independence and make many new friends. Liam is leading an enriched and fulfilled life thanks to the Camphill ethos.

Mourne Grange, as a registered charity, is engaged in regular fundraising projects. Your donations will go directly to supporting the wellbeing of the Community.
