Langston Hughes Library - NOW
Donation protected
Members of the community are planning for action & success by starting the "See something - Do something" campaign for Langston Hughes Community, Business & Resource Center.
The Community sees the need for a library in Central Park Heights and is doing something by building-out a "state of the art " COMMUNITY LIBRARY in the former Langston Hughes Elementary School.
Calling on all friends of Park Heights to Donate in support of Resiliencey through Sustainability... The Langston Hughes Community, Business & Resource Center will be a direct benefit to residents and contribute to economic development, community engagement, and quality of life conditions.
The residents of (central and southern) Park Heights have been without a Library for over a decade, and this project will change the plight of the most vulnerable by giving young and old access to educational and social resources. Your donation will support Resiliency through Sustainablity and impact thousands of lives.
Donation will be used for 6 months of facility operations; and the Build Out for a "state of art" Library design:
1) Children's Reading Room (ages 5-10)
2) Aviation STEM Room (teens)
3) Dream to Vision Business Resource Room (adults)
Join in the friend-raiser and donate what you can ($1, $5, $50, $5000, or more). See something & Do something by planning for action & success... YES invites you to follow our progress and visit the Langston Hughes Community, Business & Resource Center.
