Langdon Library Society Fundraising

Donation protected
This dream of a Public Library for Langdon started with a generous donation by the Library Board in the Town of Cereal. When faced with the closure of their own beloved library, they voted unanimously to donate all fixtures, equipment and book collections to Langdon. Through the efforts of a small group of local volunteers, we accepted the donation and moved it into storage in various locations in Langdon until we could find a home for it all.

If you've been around Langdon Park lately, you've probably noticed the Atco trailers that moved in behind the fieldhouse. These buildings have been combined to create the Qualico Resource Centre and will be the temporary home for the Langdon Community Library (until the time when we can move into the new Recreation Centre). Construction is currently in progress and it is looking amazing in there! This space will be a shared library and youth centre space (Synergy, in Chestermere, will use the space as their Langdon home for their programming here). The space will also host meeting space for other local groups.

We would be so grateful if our wonderful community can pull together again to help us keep this dream alive!  Libraries connect communities through far more than just books and reading.  This library would be a true hub in Langdon to help us learn and grow together. Please give what you can.
