Hi all!

Throughout my career and volunteering journey, I have had the joy of working with likeminded individuals that are looking to not only get their hands dirty, but to contribute to causes on a community scale. With this goal, I am seeking to raise enough funding to cover a full landscaping refresh for a local nonprofit's domestic violence shelter.

1 in 5 adults has been, or is currently, a victim of domestic abuse and 10-20% of children will experience it in their lifetime. Funding for projects outside of basic needs, like food and shelter, is far from the top of the priority list. This is a unique opportunity born from happenstance, meeting the right people at the right time, and overall drive to make a difference.

With the help of an industry landscaping contact, turned friend, we have site planned and bid out cost to the lowest possible pricing. This plan will include bringing much needed life to the family use common area in this special, protected property. Not only will this allow children to play more safely, it will bring additional privacy and peace to those experiencing this hardship as they transition to the next chapter of their lives.

Plans include updates to the fencing, adding a rail to an ADA ramp, bringing small building maintenance items back up to code, general cleaning of outdoor furniture and structures, and taking a significant amount of work off of staff.

Now we just need to fund it!
