Hello there loving family and friends. 
We are so excited to share this adventure with our loved ones. As you know we are expecting our sweet baby boy to make his entrance into this world in late December (Merry Christmas!)
We have decided on a home birth with an amazing and highly recommended local Midwife from Trillium Woman Care. 
This is our choice for bringing our baby into the world and we could not be more thrilled with this decision. 
Midwives are not covered under my insurance plan the same as a hospital birth is covered but believe it or not, as far as out of pocket expenses go, it is half the price of a hospital birth;  adding just one more reason why this is a stellar choice for our family.
We know that we will be getting many hand-me-downs and we are very short on space  as well so we are not incredibly concerned with asking for gifts (don't worry though we will still set up a registry for those who want to buy gifts.) 
What we are asking is that you reconsider buying gifts and instead donate whatever you would spend on gifts to our Midwife Fund. The amount we have set is for the total cost of the birth so if we do not reach that it's ok because we will pay the remaining balance. 
We have a lot to get in order before we introduce this sweet tiny bean into our big world and what we need along the way is your help. This is the best way you can help our small but growing family. 
We really appreciate the love and encouragment we get on this new adventure we are about to take. We have no words for the  support we are receiving during this time. Sending out love and appreciation to each and every one of you.
