Lancashire County Council Care Leavers Christmas Gifts
Christmas is fast approaching and it's the season of goodwill! Can you help us to spread some festive cheer to our Care Leavers in Lancashire?
Last year, we set up a Go Fund Me page to help provide Christmas gifts for our care leavers, which was incredibly successful due to your kind generosity. Thanks to you, we raised a whopping £5,616!
As with previous years, we wish to send our care leavers in Lancashire a gift from their Corporate Parent. Therefore, the Go Fund Me page has been reactivated by Brendan Lee, Head of Service for Leaving Care, and donations will be shared out to our most vulnerable care leavers across Lancashire.
Christmas can be a difficult time for some young people, especially those with no or little immediate family support. We want to create another ‘Lancashire family’ approach this Christmas and show our care leavers that we want them to have as nice a Christmas, as we would want for our own children.
If you can, please help us to give our care leavers a very merry Christmas.
