Lamin’s family~ food, rent and schooling

This is my friend Lamin. He lives in Gambia with his grandmother and 5 younger siblings. At 27, he’s the sole provider for his family and works by cutting and selling firewood. His family is now 3 months behind on rent, with only enough rice, veggies and oil to last a few weeks. His sister Njatty wants to return to school as well. He speaks so affectionately of his sister. She’s only 14 and does well in school.

My name is Ari. I’m running this fundraiser for him, as the Gofundme cannot be linked to his bank in Gambia. I met Lamin a few weeks ago via instagram and he has given abundant evidence of their need and is so very thankful for any support!
