Hello on the 26th of October, I summited Ama Dablam in Nepal. On the way down from summit between summit and camp 3 I was abseiling down the fixed rope, when suddenly the rope became loose and sent be backwards hurdling down the mountain. I was rolling backwards for about 40-50 meters and heading for the mountain edge where if I fell would have most likely been the end of my life. I was out cold and had no way of stopping myself, however with the quick thinking of my guide Lakpa he ran as quick as he could over to me and jumped on my leg and halted my descent towards the edge saving my life!!! We made it slowly but surely down the mountain after. This is a fundraiser for Lakpa for saving my life and giving me more chances to enjoy life!
