I’m running the marathon this year in honour of Katelyn Byrne, who’s been part of Lakers Bray for years. Katelyn has been such a light in my life and so many others. When I see Katelyn I am always greeted the biggest smile and the best hug I have ever had ( they get better each time ). Lakers is a brilliant club supporting people with intellectual disabilities through sport, friendship, and creativity. Every euro raised will go directly to Lakers Social and Recreational Club CLG, helping them continue to support amazing people like Katelyn through classes, events, and community programmes.
