This morning, my neighbors lost everything they had. They live in a trailer because times are hard even on good people, and when I say good people, they are the best. My neighbors are a mother and daughter who lived in a 25-foot camp trailer with four dogs and, depending on the day, multiple cats that they rescue and pay out of their own pockets to have spayed or neutered, vaccinated, or anything else they might need, even foster. They do this all in their spare time when they're not working, and this morning, on their way to work, the trailer caught fire and burned to the ground with all their stuff and Taleen's diabetic and asthma medications, which now need to be replaced with no money or insurance to do so. But luckily, the dogs and cats all made it out alive due to a quick-thinking neighbor (his trailer was damaged in the fire as well), but all else was lost, and now they have to start from scratch. And to top it all off, the mom (Taleen) was racing home when the engine in her car stopped working, like she didn't have enough to worry about.

This happened at the Days Inn Hotel in Lake Point, Utah (the old Oquirrh Mountain Motel). The motel has given them a room for a couple of nights, but they are going to need help beyond that.
