Lake Dunlap Debris Removal

Im a Lake Dunlap property owner and am raising money for Chip Bryant with NB Boathouse and those who are making a huge and costly effort to clean the debris from Lake Dunlap as it fills back up. The years of vegetative growth, dead trees from drought, and the burn ban preventing cut trees from being burned just before filling has resulted in a large amount of hazardous debris floating at and beneath the surface of the lake. Without sizeable and direct efforts to remove the debris using heavy equipment and barges, the safe navigability of the waters is severely diminished. Chip Bryant with NB Boathouse is spearheading a volunteer effort using their own resources to pull out the debris on a commercial, professional scale. This work is dangerous, expensive and requires skilled and knowledgeable operators. It benefits not only all the property owners, but the public as well. This fundraiser is to help fund the operations to incentivize those performing the work to keep it up and show them we are all willing to step up and "Chip" in because we all are benefitting from this.
