Lake District 4 peak challenge

Donation protected
Hi all,

In 2015 Nepal was struck by two consecutive earthquakes. The catastrophic event killed more than 8600 people and destroyed over 9600 schools. Today, 1 in 4 Nepalese children do not attend school.

In July 2019, I will travel to Nepal with 37 other students from my school KCS Wimbledon. There we will spend a week camping at a school which is currently under construction. Our time will be spent helping to complete the building of the school's facilities and teaching the schoolchildren.  Education is a powerful tool and is one of the greatest gifts we can offer to these children. Any money raised will be used to purchase books and stationery for the children, materials needed to build facilities and to fund my travel. To raise this money, during October half term, I will go to the Lake District where I am aiming (weather permitting) to carry out a "Four peak challenge". This will involve climbing Scafell Pike and Great Gable, Skiddaw and Helvellyn, over two days. This will total 40km of walking with 3759 metres climbed.

I appreciate all and any donations to help me meet my goal.

Many thanks,
Matthew
