Mckinley and Devan Labrie are a local family from Clinton, Maine, who have always been part of our community. I was connected to them by Emily, the General Manager at Uhaul, who often refers people in need to local helpers. When tragedy struck the Labrie family, I knew I had to help.

The day after Christmas, Mckinley and her daughter were at home when disaster struck. While refilling their generator outside, the generator caught fire and quickly spread to their house. Mckinley acted with incredible bravery, running inside to save her daughter and getting them both to safety before calling the Fire Department. Despite her quick actions, the fire destroyed their home and left them with almost nothing.

The funds raised through this GoFundMe will help the Labrie family rebuild their lives, stay afloat during this difficult time, and work toward buying a new home. Every donation will go toward essentials, temporary housing, and helping them get back on their feet.
