La Union Recovery from Typhoon Emong

Help Support Unhoused Families in La Union

I’m starting this fundraiser for a dear friend in La Union who has been quietly supporting several families who are currently unhoused and unable to return to their homes due to Typhoon Emong.

She has been personally hiring, feeding, and temporarily sheltering some of these families at her space, so they have a safe place to stay and a bit of income to get by. But resources are running low. The families still cannot return home because they don’t have a roof over their heads (literally). While my friend has been doing everything she can to help, she can’t do it alone.

This GoFundMe will directly support:

- Daily meals for the families

- Labor pay for the helpers she’s hired

- Home repairs and roofing once it’s safe to rebuild

- Shelter and basic needs while they remain displaced
