La Posada de Belén 2022

La Posada de Belén is a shelter and school for adolescent mothers in Costa Rica. If you know me, you know that I have supported this amazing therapeutic program, shelter and school for more than ten years.

 

2020 and 2021 were very difficult years for La Posada. Many of the 65 teenage girls and their 65 infants, toddlers and children have special health needs. COVID 19 lockdowns, social distancing and personal protective equipment have brought unanticipated expenses and hardships for the school, and your donation is needed more than ever.

 

Beyond the fees charged by GoFundMe and wire transfer costs, I commit to you that 100% of your donation will go directly to services and goods for children. Most of it will go to sustain basic needs like diapers, medicines, medical visits and educational needs. Not a penny will be wasted, and La Posada will provide you with a receipt for your donation.

 

If you are able to make a larger donation or would like to make it directly to La Posada, please let me know and I will provide you with bank transfer information. La Posada de Belén is a registered charitable/non-profit entity in Costa Rica. I hope to raise an additional $10,000 for La Posada in 2022.
