Vi presentiamo il progetto "La Montagna Incantata 1924 – Il Monte Bianco 2024", un omaggio ai 100 anni dal celebre romanzo di Thomas Mann storia diversa ma tema attuale: combattere la Tubercolosi.

La scalata al Monte Bianco è un simbolo di resilienza. La determinazione e la perseveranza richieste per raggiungere la vetta richiamano quelle necessarie ai più di 6 milioni di malati di tubercolosi nel loro impegno quotidiano nella battaglia contro questa malattia respiratoria.

Una raccolta fondi per aiutare l'unica associazione italiana che si batte per formare, sensibilizzare e prevenire la tubercolosi in Italia e all'estero: STOP TB Italia.

Dal 11 al 12 Giugno affronteremo un percorso di 36 km, con un dislivello totale di 3320 metri, per raggiungere il tetto d'Europa attraverso l'insidiosa "Via Italiana".

A cosa serviranno i soldi raccolti?

STOP TB Italia, nel 2017, ha aperto una cooperativa agricola in Senegal gestita da ex malati di tubercolosi al fine di generare proventi capaci di curare nuovi malati e aiutarli nel loro reinserimento nella comunità. Per ampliare la cooperativa e quindi la produzione è necessario creare un nuovo pozzo d'acqua dal costo di 6000€.

ogliamo rendervi partecipe della conquista della vetta più alta d’Europa. Porteremo in cima con noi uno stendardo di 1m per 1.70m composto da 600 quadrati dove potrete mettere il vostro nome o la vostra dedica. Ogni quadrato di 5cm per lato avrà un valore di 10€, più donerete, più grande sarà lo spazio a vostra disposizione.

It all started with a personal goal that Eric and I set at the beginning of 2024: to climb Mont Blanc. What began as a personal challenge, over a sandwich one evening, has transformed into something greater, something that can truly make a difference.

We present to you the project "The Magic Mountain 1924 – Mont Blanc 2024", a tribute to the 100 years since the famous novel by Thomas Mann, a different story but a current theme: fighting Tuberculosis.

The ascent of Mont Blanc is a symbol of resilience. The determination and perseverance required to reach the summit echo those needed by the over 6 million tuberculosis patients in their daily struggle against this respiratory disease.

We are fundraising to support the only Italian association fighting to educate, raise awareness, and prevent tuberculosis in Italy and abroad: STOP TB Italia.

From June 11th to 12th, we will face a 36 km route, with a total elevation gain of 3320 meters, to reach the roof of Europe through the challenging "Italian Route".

What will the funds be used for?

STOP TB Italia, in 2017, opened an agricultural cooperative in Senegal run by former tuberculosis patients to generate income capable of treating new patients and helping them reintegrate into the community. To expand the cooperative and thus the production, it is necessary to create a new water well at a cost of €6000.

How to donate?

We want you to be part of conquering the highest peak in Europe. We will carry a 1m by 1.70m banner to the summit composed of 600 squares where you can put your name or dedication. Each 5cm square will have a value of €10; the more you donate, the larger the space available to you
