LA Health Save Vegan Food Relief

Los Angeles Health Save is partnering with members of Black Lives Matter to donate healthy vegan wholefoods to people in downtown Crenshaw as part of a drive to promote the benefits of a plant-based diet for animals, health and the environment.
We are aiming to distribute 105 boxes of produce and grains that will be curated and delivered by Imperfect Foods who are on a mission to eliminate food waste and build a better food system.
We are also aiming to distribute 105 hot vegan meals prepared by local vegan business Chef Supreme Dow who was born vegan. They make an incredible plant-based pizza with cauliflower wings.
A typical event costs:
105 boxes @ $34.00 each = $3570.00
50 large reusable grocery bags @ $1.00 = $50.00 (for people walking or riding the bus)
105 warm Plant based meals $15.00 = $1575.00
Your donation to this gofundme will be matched by Animal Save Movement up to the sum of $2,600 - so every dollar you donate will be doubled up to support local vegan businesses and the community of downton Crenshaw as well as promote the health benefits of veganism.
