Help furnish our youth & families' home!

“Home” is more than a collection of rooms to spend the night. “Home” occurs when food is shared, memories are made, and people feel safe and secure. At La Casa Norte, we believe that housing is a human right and everyone deserves a home. And so, we are raising $100,000 to bring back hope to those experiencing housing instability in Chicago by furnishing 25 new apartments in La Casa Norte's Pierce House.

Now there's a unique opportunity for YOU to transform the lives of youth and families who are experiencing homelessness. In preparing for the move-in-date, our goal is to furnish these homes with essential items like a warm bed to sleep on, a comfy couch to create memories, and tables and chairs where youth and families can enjoy a warm home-cooked meal. By donating today, you can make a difference in the life of a youth who will move into their first apartment, a mom who will be able to provide a bed for her child to sleep... YOU will be helping La Casa Norte bring these youth and families into their new apartment, their new home. 

Community Center and Pierce House

Six years ago, a small but dedicated group of individuals had a dream to bring dignity back to young people and families. With the help of many individuals like yourself, Pierce House became a reality. Together we completed the construction of our new community center which includes a youth drop-in center, a nutrition center with a fresh market and community cafe, a health center, and 25 new apartment units know as Pierce House.
