Hi,

My name is Scott.  I'm opening a public tabletop gaming space for Board games, card games, and tabletop games.   The spot will have a small retail store, but it is primarily to be a safe place for people of any creed, orientation, and race to come and enjoy gaming.  Retail sales will be done online.  Everything available to purchase online will also be offereed at the store.

The spot will operate as a community location.  Kids can come in after school and pull a game off the shelf to play.  Couples can come in with their children to try a game they are thinking of buying for the family.  Every weekend, a different, open to the public event will be held for youth and families.   We will offer a wide range of games.   There will be selections for every age bracket.  Monopoly might not be something you see in the store, but title like "Apples to Apples", "Settlers of Catan" and many other games you do not see in major stores.

The funding you donate will go towards permanently securing the space.  If we do this, rent will be a non-issue.  The online sales will be able to easily generate the funds to pay the quarterly property taxes, and the keep the space heated and lit. 

I have run a successful business for years.  I am familiar with the standard procedures of operating a store.  I have plenty of experience with youth of all ages, and have a solid knowlegde of gaming.

Think of it:  a place to hold a scrabble tournament.  A place for youth Magic Card Tournaments.  A dedicated space for kids to attend free painting and building classes.  A spot that teaches and employs good sportmanship, and enjoyment of one another through a medium that is, after all, just a game.
