Hi, my name is Jose, and I’m the founder of L-ark.
L-ark was born from a very personal place.
In 2022, when my son was born, my life changed completely. Around the same time, I lost my job and was diagnosed with hypertension and severe anxiety, which eventually led me into depression.
During that period, I realized something very simple and very painful:
all I wanted was to be sure my family would be protected if I couldn’t be there.
Nothing replaces presence.
But peace of mind matters.
That realization became the seed of L-ark.
L-ark is a mobile-first digital platform designed to help people protect their loved ones financially and emotionally in the event of death or total disability.
It’s a hereditary crowdfunding system — a form of digital legacy — created for people who don’t have access to traditional life insurance, or who are looking for a more human, community-driven alternative.
Through L-ark, people can prepare in advance:
• A community-based fundraising campaign for their beneficiaries
• Clear conditions under which funds are released (death or total disability)
• Trusted contacts and designated beneficiaries
• A secure digital vault with documents, photos, videos, and personal messages
When a campaign is executed, beneficiaries receive both:
• The funds raised through the community campaign
• A physical SSD containing the vault’s digital memories and documents, shipped directly to their home
This is not about deciding “when” money is released.
It’s about preparing responsibly, so families are not left alone or unprotected when something irreversible happens.
L-ark is not just an idea.
The platform is already built, tested, and validated as a real product. The core system exists and works.
This campaign helps fund the next critical step: turning a validated platform into a responsibly launched and sustainable service.
The funds raised will be used to:
• Finalize and release the Android version so more people can access L-ark
• Complete legal and compliance requirements (terms, privacy policies, protections)
• Strengthen infrastructure, security, and long-term scalability
• Support outreach and awareness efforts to reach families who need this system
• Allow full-time dedication to maintaining and improving the platform responsibly
L-ark exists to help families feel less alone in the hardest moments.
