Hello, my name is Amber and my little sister Melanie was recently diagnosed with stage 3 (according to the general surgeon) Invasive Mammary Carcinoma. She is only 35 years old and has a 9 month old (my baby niece) and a 12 year old (my not so baby niece). My sister is a stay at home mom in a single income family and doesn’t have private insurance. We are trying to raise money for all of the things that she will need before, during, and after treatment, as well as additional money for any medical costs that we don’t know about yet. We just don’t know what to expect yet, but living paycheck to paycheck leaves no room for even the slightest creature comfort during this time. I will keep this page updated each step of the way.
