I'm Suzie and im fundraising for Kylie Rogers.

My dearest friend who sadly on the friday (19th) evening before christmas had an accident that has changed her life in the most devastating way.

Coming home from another hard day working behind the bar at her local pub Kylie found herself having fallen onto her living room floor..

Alone and scared she called 999 not knowing to what extent she'd hurt herself.

A broken ankle, dislocated knee cap which had clipped an artery and a bone piercing through the back of her knee...she had to explain she needed immediate help.

Finally after having to be rescued from her locked home by the fire brigade she was taken to N&N.

She had emergency surgery to stabilise her injuries and was in the HCU.

The doctors and nurses did all they could to save Kylie's leg but sad to say the damage to her blood vessels and arteries was too much and her leg was amputated on Monday 29th.

Her whole world has been turned upside down. She now has the long and painful journey of learning to live her life in a wheelchair, not knowing where she will live when she is released, how she will support herself and cope with the mental toll all this will continue to have on her.

This money is to be used to ease the stress of at least some of these challenges she is going to face..

New bed, new suitable seating, mobility scooter, wheelchair...

Kylie is 37 years old! Kind, funny and very much loved, she has had a very hard time the past few years, Its so important to me that in this, the hardest challenge she has ever faced is made just a tiny bit easier, through love support and any small donation.
