Kyle's Kids Need Your Help This Summer

Kyle & I would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the outpouring of support during this extremely challenging time.

As many of you know, honesty, integrity, and accountability are incredibly important to our family. With that comes the difficult journey ahead, and it is a priority of Kyle and me to ensure that this upcoming summer is full of healthy, positive enrichment opportunities for our amazing kids.

A typical summer is doing ALL the things with Daddy, who takes over after a very busy school year for all 3 of them. Kyle spends every day keeping our kids busy and active. As a coach, there are days filled with volleyball, softball, and football. There are hikes and fun outings, camps, and sporting events. After an insanely busy school year as an athletic director, he takes every moment to be there and present for our kids. It’s his favorite time of year and theirs! We want to make sure the kids continue to grow and learn, and have fun during summer break like all kids should do.

As we shift forward towards a summer without Dad, we have carefully considered ways to keep both kids engaged with friends while growing their skills and passions.

Many of you have reached out and have asked what you can do, and for that, we are extremely grateful and thought this to be a great forum to give in a specific way to help us support them through something no child should ever have to experience.

Some ideas we have:

YMCA day summer camp

4-day overnight cheer camp

Football camp

Softball or Volleyball camp

Throughout this experience, I have remained focused on providing for our family, trusting that one day we will see this in our past. In the meantime, I’ve been able to keep us going thanks to my job as a hospice nurse. Given the need to be fully present for our kids, however, I cannot add anything else to my plate and instead need to look to our village to fill in the financial gaps. If you know me well, you know this is very difficult to put out there, and we are completely humbled to know that it will all be okay because of all of you.

Any extra donations outside of our goal will continue to ONLY be for the kids and continuing to make this time as easy on them as possible.
