Hi my name is Lauren and I am fundraising for my Aunty Ellen, but most of you know her has Helena because of her work. Our Mom's are friends and she's been the best Aunt ever and our hearts are breaking for her, her husband (Uncle John) the ones she worries about the most, Alexander and Elliott, her sons.

In 2020 she had extensive treatment for breast cancer. At the end of 2023, and under a new oncologist, it was noticed her consultant in 2020 cancelled a nuclear pet bone scan and forgot to rebook it.

She is now 6 stone in weight, in hospital sleeping most of the time because of rhe medication shes on. She can stand briefly but now struggles to walk, and is fighting for her life.

There may be some treatment available to her, in the form of a targeted trial, but that costs money, she doesn't have as it is likely to be £1000's. And upto £10,000.

We are waiting to find out if the cancer has spread to her pancreas and brain.

She has always tried to do her best especially where work was concerned. She had to close her business and told she would never work again. This had a devastating effect on her.

SomePeople she thought she could rely on have just disappeared.

But because she's been so good to me and my mom I have started this page for a few reasons.

The first is to pay for trial treatment if it has to be paid for. If not it will go towards her funeral expenses and then her children.

I know its a big ask but any amount you can spare would help. And if she ever helped you you know how special she is even if you were are a client or friend.
