Please help my bonus daughter and her mother keep their house. My bonus daughter's mother had an extremely tough year. She was out of work for about half the year, let go in the spring and struggled with finding a job. After she was finally hired, she suffered a foot injury and was only able to work on light duty, which limited her income. She was not making enough to cover expenses and got behind on the mortgage. She has desperately tried to catch up, but she still owes the bank money. They have sent her a letter threatening foreclosure if they do not receive the balance due by 1/15/2026. My bonus daughter lives with her, is a senior at Kellam High School, and plans to attend college in the fall. Losing their home would completely devastate her plans and, honestly, render them homeless. Please help!
