Asylum Seekers need legal fee help

Hi my name is Elizabeth, and I am fundraising for my friend and his young daughter who are seeking asylum. I met them 6 months ago through a friend at church when he was needing work. He showed up on time, with a smile and worked so hard. Later he brought his daughter to visit and they took a walk on our beach. She was so happy.

We found out they were fast tracked for deportation back to Columbia, where things are very unsafe for them. So my husband and I were able to get them an immigration attorney, and with an initial deposit, the attorney stepped in to help.

The court and legal fees could add up to $20,000 or more, and without support, He will have to give up. It doesn't seem right that due to the hight cost of going to court, he may not be able to stay here with his daughter.
