Michigan Framily Reunion was built with the sweat equity and financial equity of this team. Our vision was to create a safe space in the pine trees at the home of MFR, Wayland Farm.
An integral tool for our vision and our work is our trusty tractor, Red.
We use Red to move water totes, janes, ice, dig holes, root out stumps, grind trees, smooth the trails, and so much more.
Red was a pricey investment but necessary for all of the work involved the first year we moved to Wayland Farm. Since that time, she has been a valiant dragyn warrior working hard so the womyn can have a safe place in the pines.
Now Red needs some maintenance and repairs. Her reverse went out and her fixes are not cheap. It costs $7500 to repair Red. Without Red, we would have to rent individually so many pieces of equipment.
Fixing Red is an investment in the future of MFR.
