Hi everyone, the reason for creating this GoFundMe is to raise money for my mom. She has been without heat, electricity, or water for going on over a year now, if not longer.

UPDATE MAY 30th 2025

I have successfully moved my mom to Iowa! We moved her about a month ago & it took all of the money we’ve earned so far! but the struggle isn’t over yet, we’re working on getting her an income based apartment and we would still like to raise money for basic necessities when she moves in!

I would really love to raise any kind of money to move her to Iowa. Where I currently live now & have lived for 8 years. The real goal is to get a down payment for a forever home for her and her beloved pup Beasley & all of her belongings.

My mother lost her father last year in March & the house went into foreclosure without a way to put it in her name. She had lived in that house with him for 15 years. My mother has no reliable relatives left to depend on. Besides me. Her sister passed in 2016 and my father—her husband—passed in 2017. He was her main source of financial support. Her mom passed away 2 years ago on Christmas.

All I imagine is the woman that gave her life away to raise me, cold and alone in this brutal winter month and having no real reason to celebrate the holidays because she is homeless. She is 52 and her birthday is coming up in January & Christmas is 2 days away. Anything you could spare would be greatly appreciated. Please share to help support my lovely mother.

I have secured a safe place for her to stay, nights only. in Spiceland, Indiana. This is only temporary and i’m hoping to get her to Iowa by May 1st, 2025! Thank you!
