KWBH Cares Helps Feed Frontliners

FACT: These are unprecedented times in which we all find ourselves.

FACT: Most of us must stay at home to flatten the curve.

FACT: Frontline medical professionals are continuing to work extremely long hours under enormous pressures with ever-increasing health & safety concerns.

FACT: Many of them are fatigued and do not have time to prepare meals for themselves to refuel, let alone shop for groceries.

FACT: With all of us attempting to balance our personal/family needs with the needs of our communities, there is still a way that we can all make a difference and show our support.

KWBH CARES
The agents, brokers, and staff of Keller Williams Beverly Hills are changing their message from "I CARE" to "WE CARE." In cooperation with Barbera Thornhill & our very own, Maty Monfort Novia, of ScrubHub For Heroes, we are reaching out to you to help raise funds to purchase and distribute meals for all the nurses, doctors, EMT's, technicians, administrators, etc. at Cedars-Sinai and Providence Saint John's Hospitals.

JOIN THE CONTINUING EFFORTS
Since March 30, 2020, Barbera & Maty have handed out thousands of meals to these medical professionals who are putting their lives on the line every day. The distribution of the meals is handled by volunteers and each meal is accompanied by a  personal card expressing how much they're appreciated. Your monetary contribution will directly pay for local restaurants to prepare the meals. The ingredients, preparation, and delivery of the meals cost approximately $9.00-$10.00 per meal and they're handing out almost 200 meals per day at each hospital.

HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT THEM
Regardless of the actual dollar amount (though we always love the large contributions), we want to encourage you to give any money with which you feel comfortable. Every dollar counts! And then, we want you to encourage your friends, families, colleagues, and other community members to do the same. Please spread the word and help to keep these medical heroes nourished so they can perform the needed life-saving services to the ill.

We want to reach our goal by Friday, April 24, 2020, before the current funding is depleted.
