Dear Friends and Community,

I'm reaching out to you today to support the Korean American Society of Houston (KASH), an organization that is doing incredible work to empower our community and celebrate Houston’s vibrant cultural diversity through Korean Festival Houston. While KASH has been an advocate of spreading cultural awareness, they have also leveraged their influence to make their festival more inclusive while shining light on neurodiversity awareness.

As a mother to a child on the spectrum, it has been my mission to encourage organizations to incorporate inclusive-friendly spaces and for the first time last year, that dream came to life with the support of Kulture City, the world's leading nonprofit focused on sensory accessibility and inclusion for those with invisible disabilities. In partnership with Kulture City, KASH was able to serve over 100 individuals to enjoy the beauty of Korean culture in a safe and inclusive environment. For the first time, many families and individuals felt acknowledged and welcomed to participate in their local community event.
