My name is Lacey and I am a student at The Beacon School in Banstead. I am participating in an expedition to Cambodia in July. This will be a four week expedition and will include community development work, environmental projects and wildlife conservation. The main objectives of this expedition are to undertake projects in order to raise educational and living standards of developing communities within their within a rural district of Cambodia, to assist with ongoing wildlife conservation programs to preserve biodiversity, and protect vulnerable habitats. This expedition is extremely important to me because I feel that I will acquire and develop many important life skills. I am looking forward to meeting new people, learning a new language, and finding out about the different cultures and beliefs. It will be exciting for me to give back and help make a small difference to peoples lives and communities, I would be extremely grateful for any contributions you can make to help towards my fundraising.
