Hello, friends! Recently, I was invited to walk alongside a brave 18 year old who left an unhealthy/unsafe home situation to create a new path for herself. Leaving was a huge step, but it's only the beginning. She is starting fresh with nothing but her talents and strength, and our community. There are many things she wants to do that will require financial support, at least initially. While I am purposely being vague out of respect for her, trust me when I say the need is great and the recipient is deserving of all good things. She keeps saying that she doesn't understand why anyone would be willing to help her, and I am hopeful that this is just another tangible way to communicate that she is not alone.
