Krystyna's Final Wish: Rest in Her Homeland

Donation protected
Hello,

On June 4, 2025, our family suffered the loss of my 102-year-old grandmother, Krystyna. My grandma lived a simple life growing up in Poland. She survived WWII, the Warsaw Uprising, and countless other personal adversities. She persevered, and her life became dedicated to serving those around her. She always had kind words of encouragement for people around her. She kept smiling throughout life's difficulties. Her life in Poland and the U.S. was all about service to others. During this painful time, I can't find words to describe the gem she was to those around her. Her quiet, cheerful character and words of wisdom will forever leave a mark on this planet as her next generation lives out her legacy.

Before the dawn of her death, Krystyna was surrounded by her closest family members, including her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her two great-grandchildren were giving her coconut water to drink in a pipet to keep her mouth moist and comfortable. We played her favorite songs all day. The empathy they had is genetic. The love my grandma taught us to give back to the world will make this planet a better place. She lived out her last days in California. We would like to honor her last wishes to be buried in Poland. However, funeral costs are very expensive, and we hope that you can support us in this difficult time. Your donation will go a long way and the universe will repay you.

Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Marta McFarland
