Greetings all!

I am Anastasiia -- a Ukrainian artist and a single mother. Today, I am writing to graciously ask for your assistance in helping my son and I settle down here in Los Angeles.

This is my story.

Along with many others, I was forced to leave my native country amidst the ungodly invasion of Ukraine in order to keep myself and my son safe. In March 2022, Dima, my son of 12, and I traveled to the United States thanks to the kindness of my best friend who was willing to take us in.

We are completely starting from scratch now, without income or security, and have been purely relying on the generosity of friends and kind people that we've met here. In any case, I am determined to do everything in my power to ensure my son's comfort and education here in the U.S.

As I wait to receive my work authorization (which may take up to six months), I am in need of funds to rent an apartment, send my son to middle school, and take care of basic needs.
