Kristy Becker and her battle with ALS

Hello, my Name is Jerad Becker and I’m starting this GoFundMe for my sister, as well as my parents. My sister, who lives in Washington, was just diagnosed with ALS after about 4 months of intense physical decline and jumping through the hoops of the modern medical system to get the correct appointments needed to get this diagnosis. My mom, who lives in Colorado, and is also full time care giver to my father who is battling advanced stage Parkinson’s disease, has flown out multiple times already to help my sister get the medical help she needs, and will need to continue flying back and forth frequently for the foreseeable future. So there is the short story. I am asking for donations for two reasons, to help with any medical expenses my sister will need help with, including the possibility for a wheelchair van, and secondly to help with travel expenses for my mom, as she already has plenty of medical expenses with my dad, travel will eat away at the budget. My sister has gone from normal, to unable to speak, the need of a walker and leg braces and limited hand function in 4 months.
