Every one of us experienced a loss at some point in our life. Not all of us, however, experience two devastating losses within nine days.

Hi, my name is Alina, and my team and I have organized a fundraiser for our boss, Kristin, and her boyfriend, Matt. Kristin and Matt suffered the loss of two beloved family members in a week and a half. Kristin and Matt are parents to two wonderful children, Willow (age 2) and Miles (age 1). In May, Kristin shared with the team that she was expecting a baby boy. Baby Eli was due to meet the world in October, but who knew that only a few weeks later that Eli would make his appearance… Nobody expected baby Eli that early, at just 19 weeks gestation, especially not Kristin and Matt. Eli lived long enough to meet Kristin and Math, but unfortunately, the little angel did not get a chance to meet his loving sister and brother, Willow and Miles. Such a painful loss is not easy to recover from, and just nine days after baby Eli spread his wings, Matt and Kristin received the devastating news that Matt's father had suddenly passed away. Beloved grandpa to Willow and Miles, whom they did not get a chance to say goodbye to, is now watching over baby Eli. Nobody is prepared to lose two important family members within such a short time period. Therefore, we are asking for donations for Kristin and Matt to help them through this difficult time.

All the funds raised will go to unforeseen medical expenses for Eli and Kristin, funeral expenses for Eli and support day by day expenses for both Kristin and Matt who have no more paid time off due to known circumstances.
