Kristen & Blake Limerick
Donation protected
On Monday, February 6th the lives of Kristen & Blake were flipped upside down while in FL. They were in a head-on collision causing the vehicle to roll over 3-4 times. Kristen was airlifted to one hospital, while Blake was transported via rescue to a different hospital (thankfully none of their kids were in the car). An angel was certainly watching over the two of them and their family during this accident.
The great news is that Kristen & Blake are both alive and in stable condition with no life-threatening injuries which we are EXTREMELY thankful for. The bad news is that Kristen has a broken orbital bone, stitches in her face, a broken hand/fingers that require surgery, and a shifted disk in her spine/neck that more than likely requires invasive surgery. Blake has a broken foot in 3 places, 3 broken ribs, hairline fractures in his pelvis, and a broken tailbone and requires in-patient rehab for the next several weeks and will not be able to walk for at least 6 weeks.
While they both require ongoing care for themselves, they also have 3 kids (all under the age of 3). Kristen & Blake will be out of work, and neither of them will be able to take care of their children with the injuries they have sustained.
Many people have asked how they can help and assist during their road to recovery, so here we are. Finances are going to get extremely difficult, and taking care of 3 young kids is difficult as a normal parent, let alone two injured parents, so getting the help they need to take care of their kids and give them some stability is more than likely going to be required. We are asking that if you are able to contribute in any way, big or small it would be so greatly appreciated! Let's rally around this beautiful family to make sure they have the support of their friends, family, and communities during such a difficult time!
