Hiking for Freedom: Trekking Machu Picchu to Change Lives
As we take on the breathtaking challenge of hiking Machu Picchu in Peru, we are not just climbing for adventure—we are climbing for impact. Every step we take is a step towards hope, restoration, and transformation for communities around the world.
Hiker's Bio:
My name is Krista Feyma. I am a wife, mom of 3 boys (and a goldendoodle), Pastor, and Bilingual aid in Preschool Special Education. I have loved Jesus since before I can remember. I knew as a preschooler that Jesus loves me and made a choice to follow Him all my days. I have spent my life trying to help others experience that same love. My husband and I moved to beautiful San Luis Obispo, CA and planted a church in 2020. I have way too many hobbies: ballet, surfing, sewing/art, volunteering at my kids school, etc...
I studied Spanish in College, partly because of the missional opportunities it would open up. I love that in my school I get to work with families that would otherwise have a hard time accessing the services they need to help their children. Being bilingual will come in handy on this trip to Peru! My sister Tracy invited me to join her on this adventure and I’m excited to get to share this experience with her. I love exploring God’s creation and connecting with/supporting others who are on mission.
