On the night of 11/11, our sweet friend and Wilson County school bus driver, Kris (and her boyfriend), experienced a devastating house fire that left their home a total loss.
If you know Kris, you know her heart. She has spent years caring for the children of Wilson County, greeting them every morning with patience, kindness, and the smile she’s known for. She is the type of person who gives without ever expecting anything in return.
When asked what she needs, her only response has been: “Please just pray for me.”
That humility is exactly why we are stepping in on her behalf. Right now, they are staying in a hotel until they can determine what the next steps are. They are truly starting from nothing after this heartbreaking loss.
We are asking our community, friends, and anyone whose heart she’s touched to please consider donating. Every dollar will help them replace basic necessities, cover hotel bills and take a little less stress while they navigate what’s ahead.
