Krakow Poland Volunteer Ukraine Crisis

On Wednesday, 9th March I went to Krakow Poland by myself to help as a volunteer! I went back on the 15th of May for 8 nights and again on 20th June for 16 nights to work with 4 Peron Volunteer Foundation. 4 Peron started at Central Station on 25th February in Krakow and have secured a building (Hostel) for people fleeing the War. I have been there for 16 days and I've witnessed all the amazing things that they are doing.
They help all get to there next destination. They provide Aid, petrol, food, car parts and more going in to the Ukraine. They bring families back from Ukraine too. The work is endless. It's 12 hour days or more sometimes.
Seeing a mother arrive with her baby (2 years old). The baby was exhausted after all the travelling. I talked to her and she said “It was too much for her”. She didn't have to tell me, I could see that her baby was exhausted. 4 Peron foundation was able to help with food, shelter and travel. This is just one of the stories that I've listened too. There are many stories.
Yes it's heartbreaking.
I also work and help out at the Soup kitchen too. Both organisation work together. Link below too.
On my first visit I witnessed so many women and children arriving at the station with just a plastic bag.
Food and shelter and a safe place was provided for them at the station by 4 Per Foundation. All of my first visit is printed in my Article for Life Sunday Independent magazine.
On my second visit I was given a tour of 4 Peron facilities at the Station for incoming refugees. They provided beds, shelter and food for refugees at the station. They assist in the completion of documentation required for Ambulances to enter Ukraine to help the injured.
Yes it's endless work. I am hoping that I can go back and stay for a longer period of time.
I am hoping to travel to South Poland again too, to teach drama to Ukraniain teens refugees at a school.
I get daily updates from Kviv, Lviv, Krakow and South Poland etc. Some information I have received is just too sad and horrific to share! It's extremely important that safe accomadation is provided for them. The men staying to fight! Some of them/most of them boys who are not trained as soldiers! First aid kits, food, petrol, shelter and so much more is needed on a daily basis! I want and need to help more. I've attached the link from a recent Article that I wrote for all to read! (Life Magazine Independent). I've attached 4 Peron Facebook page aslo. Thank you to all who have giving me great advice! And Please Donate and feel free to Share!
Every donation and Share helps.
