We need your help saving Baby! She needs a hero and she needs it now!! Baby was picked up as a Stray in Simi Valley, CA in January by our team and was taken over to the shelter. Unfortunately no owners ever came for her. We just cannot understand who would leave this beautiful girl behind. Because of that she is now extremely at risk.
Baby has not done well in the shelter even though she started out ok. She loved the kiddie pool and to run zoomies in the play yard. But the shelter environment after so long has caught up with her and she has gotten herself into some trouble there. She is mouthy, had shown some resource guarding and is just not as pleasant as she used to be to those that have shown her care. She now has a bite record and is no longer available for adoption to the public. Medically she is fine.
I updated our post and my personal. If you can all revise yours in this section that would great.
Shelters and rescues are all at capacity!!
Prolonging Baby’s stay at the shelter will only increase her stress and behavioral issues. The longer she waits the harder she is to safely place. Thats the bottom line. She has been failed too many times we cannot fail her”!
The good need in this?? We have FOUND a place for her to go where she will get training, know boundaries and have consistency. A great place! She will eventually be adopted out to an owner after she has completed her program. We are forever grateful that she is lucky enough to fill this spot but we have to pay for her training program, boarding, care and ongoing process to ensure her an adoption. This is where we need you because saving her life is going to cost us all money.
Working Dogs Of Nevada has agreed to take her!! But we have to raise $5000 to get her there plus transport costs and we have to do it quickly! Many of our supporters know we have worked closely in the past with WDON and seen their success with the few dogs we have sent there! This is a new leash on life for her. Please help us help her.
We have set up a go fund me for her so you can see her goal and how we are doing.
