Hi everyone,

I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my lovely friend Rebecca and her family, who are going through an incredibly overwhelming and heartbreaking time.

Their daughter Aria is currently battling stage 3 germ cell cancer — a diagnosis that has turned their entire world upside down. While navigating aggressive treatment and endless hospital visits, the family was hit with more devastating challenges: her husband Rich was unexpectedly made redundant, and shortly after, they welcomed a premature baby, Remy, who also required special care and attention.

In just a few months, this family has been faced with more stress, fear, and financial strain than anyone should have to bear. With one income suddenly gone, medical costs rising, and the added needs of a premature newborn, they are struggling to stay afloat while trying to focus on what matters most: healing, recovery, and caring for their children.

Also, with Christmas approaching, the weight feels even heavier. What should be a joyful time of year has become a source of worry as they try to figure out how to make this Christmas feel special for their three children despite everything they’re facing. We’d love to help ensure this family can experience a bit of Christmas magic during an otherwise heartbreaking chapter of their lives.

We are raising funds to help them with travel expenses for Aria’s treatment in Leeds and to help tide them over until Rich can get back into work.
