Donate to help Korin make it to Kenya!

Hi everyone! For those who don’t know me, my name is Korin. I am a dental assistant in Yakima, Washington. Unfortunately, last November, my whole world was changed. My brother, Kyle, passed away in a tragic car accident. My brother was a hilarious, giving, selfless man. He had the biggest heart of anyone I have ever known and wanted to spread nothing but love.
He wanted to do something to change the world, and one of those ways was to volunteer in Nairobi, Kenya. He volunteered at Happy Life Children’s Home in 2012 for the first time and immediately fell in love with all the amazing people, the culture, the food, and “his” babies. After returning home, he knew he wanted to go back but wanted to go with the money he raised while walking the border of the states from Washington to Texas. When he reached and exceeded his goal, he made a trip back to Kenya in 2019 to help the orphanage build a kitchen. Again, he had the time of his life.
I want to follow in my brothers’ footsteps and do something meaningful. I have always wanted to travel the world, and I feel this is a perfect way to do it in his honor. I have decided to volunteer for Global Dental Relief in their dental clinic beginning of next year to help those who don’t have regular access to dental care. This is an excellent way for me to use my skills and help others in need. On this trip, I will also bring my brother's ashes to spread in a place he loved dearly.
Unfortunately, with a two-week trip, there are expenses involved. I will be paying for my airfare, personal insurance, medical needs before (pills, vaccinations, etc.), and the amount I have to pay to the charity in which they provide staying accommodations, food, transportation, scrubs, and more. A part of that investment also goes to medical and dental necessities for the people of Nairobi and surrounding areas.
This is where I need help from all of you. Any amount you can donate to help me continue what my brother started is very appreciated. The money you donate will be put to great use. I am also thankful for any good thoughts, shares, or advice you might have.
If I receive any money above the amount I need for my travels, I will deliver a check in that amount to the orphanage that Kyle loved.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can give

Much love, Korin
