Konnor's Eagle Scout Project

My name is Konnor Blevins, I am 17 and working towards by Eagle Scout rank with Boy Scout Troop 79 of Glen Moore Pa. Eagle is the highest rank in boy scouts and a scout led project that he raises money for. My goal is to raise $6,000 for my Eagle Scout project that will be donated to the Glen Moore Fire Company. I am a junior fire fighter with the Glen Moore Fire Company as well. My project is to make a shipping container into a training room for the fire fighters to use for practice. Inside the shipping container will simulate a living room with an egress window to crawl through, a chimney we can fill with smoke to simulate a chimney fire, and it will have roof prop attached to the side of the structure. We will be able to fill the room with fake smoke to simulate a real fire. This project will help Glen Moore Fire Company prepare for fires that could happen in our area. We will be able to train and gather experience as it will help when going through a building when it is really needed. I greatly appreciate your donation it will help me to purchase the materials needed to build my Eagle Scout Project as well as supporting the community when the firefighters are needed.
