On Saturday 13th July 2024, members of the Komatsu UK Purchasing department will take on the infamous Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge, all in the aid of Oasis Community Housing, which is KUK's chosen charity for this year.

The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge is a 24-mile (38.6km) round trip route, which includes 5200ft (1582m) of ascent. The iconic challenge scales three of Yorkshires best known summits: Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, forming part of the Pennine range, and encircling the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

This formidable challenge will be a true test of the team which has a combined mass of over a ton, and is comprised of a wide range of both ages and fitness abilities.

Our chosen charity: Oasis Community Housing, exists to reignite a hope and a future for everyone facing homelessness. They are charity which run projects that help people access housing and provide supportive relationships which aim to eradicate homelessness.
