Solo Kolo 2020

Since events are being canceled and social distancing is happening, we all could use some exercise and a temporary distraction. Let's ride bikes together (but separately) for a good cause. The crew at Kolo TC has decided to raise money for the Father Fred Foundation, which serves Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Leelanau and Kalkaska.
We have come up with a few events that you can do by yourself, but still have some friendly competition with others via GPS. Each week we will post a new event that you will have a week to ride and post a time on strava. Ride it whatever day/time works for you, ride it more than once if you want. We will keep a men's and women's leaderboard online with daily updates. We will have weekly "stage" winners and an overall winner with combined times. If you aren’t competitive, just go ride the course and enjoy the outdoors.
Think of this page as the unofficial “registration” for the upcoming “races” that you will ride. We suggest a $25 donation to participate, but if you can’t afford that right now, no worries. If you can afford more, that’s cool too. Don't bike? You can still donate. Stay up to speed with events here:
