Kōkua Needed for The Hanchett Ranch: Rebuild After Fire

Donation protected

The Hanchett and Oliveira ʻOhana have been the caretakers of acreage in Moloa`a, Kauaʻi for the past 20 years; known as the Hanchett Ranch. Stuart Hanchett; affectionately known as "Uncle Stu" has been the primary caretaker of this ʻāina. Even in his 70s, he's out every day, working hard to maintain The Ranch. The Hanchett Ranch has been host to multiple student programs, field trips, and summer camps. We provide the opportunity for the youth of Kaua'i to be outdoors and immerse themselves in agriculture and Hawaiian cultural practices.

The Ranch recently faced a fire that consumed our entire toolshed/workshop and destroyed everything inside. This shed housed all of our "ranch daily essentials"; mowers, power/hand tools, lumber, and many other things needed on The Ranch. We humbly ask for those who can kōkua, to donate so we can restore our inventory and keep things running on the ranch.

Mahalo Nui Loa,
The Hanchett & Oliveira ʻOhana
