KOD Lyons Coast to Coast Cycle 2021

On the 3rd of July 2021, members of the KOD Lyons team will set off on a coast to coast cycle from Dublin to Galway in aid of Solas Project and Rainbows Ireland. KOD Lyons Solicitors are one of Ireland's leading human rights and public interest firms, dedicated to the vindication of human rights in Ireland and globally.

Solas Project supports children and young people at risk of being marginalised by society, specifically through the education, employment and justice systems. They provide a number of programmes aimed at helping young people develop practical and relational skills to assist in the development of confidence, self-worth and a purpose in life.

Rainbows Ireland provides an inclusive voluntary service that supports children experiencing grief and loss as a result of bereavement, parental separation, parental relationship breakdown and divorce. They run a number of programmes that affords affected children the opportunity to meet and interact with other children experiencing the same issues.

We believe that the rights of children and young people are binary, where one child is hurt, all children are hurt. Charities like Solas Project and Rainbows Ireland play an integral role in the vindication of the rights of children and young people in Ireland and it is imperative that they receive the resources they need to continue their work. The money raised by our Coast to Coast Cycle will go towards reducing the societal harm of children living in Ireland through educational, mentoring, employment and support programmes run by Solas Project and Rainbows Ireland.
