Hi, my name is Sarah, and I’m organizing this fundraiser with my father to support my daughter’s boyfriend, Kobe.

Three months ago, Kobe suffered a sudden seizure at work and was rushed to the hospital. While being monitored, he experienced several more seizures. After extensive testing, he was diagnosed with a cavernoma—an abnormal cluster of blood vessels—in his right temporal lobe. This condition requires surgical removal.

Kobe is scheduled to undergo a right temporal lobe cavernoma resection, a delicate brain surgery that will also involve removing some surrounding brain tissue to reduce the risk of further seizures. He has already been out of work for three months, unable to drive or earn income, and now faces an additional three months of recovery post-surgery.

Unfortunately, Kobe’s job does not offer short-term disability, and he’s quickly fallen behind on bills. He’s a kind, generous, and hardworking young man who would give the shirt off his back to help others. Now, he needs help getting through this difficult time.
